Anne M. Pott

Anne M. Pott is a gerontologist, social worker and certified dementia practitioner living in Carson City. She has worked with adults living with traumatic brain injury and physical, intellectual and cognitive challenges in Washington, Illinois, Michigan, California and Nevada. Her graduate research has included the long-term effects of military service on older veterans.

Anne is on the Parkinson Support Center of Northern Nevada board. She also serves as a co-facilitator of Dementia Friendly Washoe County and as the vice president of education at her local Toastmasters club.

After living in Northern Nevada for almost 20 years, Anne has come to call it home. Before that, she lived in seven different states, guided by the USN, her educational pursuits and her husband’s career. Anne loves to spend time with her family, two labs, and in the fresh air and beauty of the mountains.
