What We Do

Education

Part of our mission is education and public awareness — to spread helpful information about Parkinson's disease. As part of our services, we connect you to informative websites, educational speakers, and other learning opportunities. We also participate in health fairs and collaborate with other agencies.

Support

We provide information on a variety of support groups (we call them PD Community Groups) to help a person living with PD, family, friends and care partners connect with others. In addition, we realize that PD can lead to financial and legal strains. We provide information and links to programs which help with these issues.

We provide information on local, northern Nevada: medical providers, home health and assistive living options on our Resource pages. In addition, we provide links to current research news, clinical trials, end of life decisions, and other information helpful to PD patients and caregivers.
