Our Funding Priorities

Our Current Funding Priorities

We are focused on expanding our reach and impact in the following key areas:

  • Reaching Underserved Populations: We are developing strategies to connect with underserved communities, including Hispanic, African American, Native American populations, and veterans living with Parkinson’s Disease in northern Nevada.

  • Expanding Rural Outreach: We are working to increase our reach to people with Parkinson’s in rural areas, providing them with the resources, support, and education they need.

  • Exercise Scholarship Program: We are partnering with local fitness and exercise programs to ensure that instructors are trained to work with people with Parkinson’s Disease and to provide scholarships for participants who need financial assistance.

How You Can Help

With your donation, we can continue to provide essential support, increase awareness, and create stronger connections within our community. Together, we can ensure that no one has to face Parkinson’s Disease alone.

We appreciate your support and look forward to partnering with you to make a difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s Disease in northern Nevada.

Ways to Help

There are many ways to support PSCNN and the northern Nevada Parkinson's community. You can make a one-time or recurring gift by cash, check, or credit card. You can also give through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), a gift of stock or securities, or a planned gift through your estate.

If you are 70½ or older, consider an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). You can give up to $108,000 directly from your traditional IRA without adding to your taxable income (married couples filing jointly can give up to $216,000). For most people 73 or older, this also counts toward your required minimum distribution.

No matter how you choose to give, your generosity helps ensure that no one has to face Parkinson's alone.
