Cindy Welch

PSCNN Board Member

I have been actively engaged in the community for many years through various forms of volunteer work, owning a business in Reno, and participating with local organizations. I bring strategic thinking, professional expertise, leadership, and a strong work ethic to all my volunteer endeavors.

Presently, I am involved with several organizations including the Rotary Club of Reno Centennial Sunset, Reno Elks Club, Reno Rodeo Foundation, Reno Rodeo Association, Washoe County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Parkinson’s Foundation as an Ambassador, Parkinson’s Support Center of Northern Nevada (PSCNN), and graduate of the Washoe County Leadership Academy.

My husband was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's Disease at the age of 42, and after 22 years, he passed away in late 2024. I am dedicated to collaborating with organizations that raise awareness and provide education about available resources and support for families navigating life with Parkinson’s Disease.
