I have been an adventure hound all my life and grew up traveling, camping and going on long summer family road trips. Then as an adult, flying, backpacking, working as a ranch hand, and cycling, (including Seattle to NYC trip), were added to the list. The Parkinson’s diagnosis came at the age of 44, and every aspect of life was suddenly up for review. Over time, I’ve learned to navigate the many transitions that are required to continue living a successful life with Parkinson’s.  Regarding mentoring, I particularly relate to those recently diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s.  My goal is to help them, in their own way, process the changes in their life.
